We are a local charity providing services to improve health and wellbeing based at the award winning Pioneering Care Centre in Newton Aycliffe.

 
We are recruiting:
 
Health Trainer Officer x 2
22½ hours per week
£15,991-£18379 per annum, pro rata
Located: Pioneering Care Centre, Newton Aycliffe (with significant  outreach work across County Durham)
 
Key tasks:
·         To encourage and facilitate the development and delivery of personal health action/activity plans with members of the community.
·         To plan and deliver a range of interactive health workshops
  • To apply community engagement and consultation techniques as appropriate to engage the target groups/individuals.
 
Key skills required:
·         NVQ Level 2 in a relevant vocational area or equivalent qualification
·         Minimum of 12 months experience of working in the community or voluntary sector
·         Experience of preparing individual action/support plans
·         Current driving licence and access to a vehicle
